Have you ever moved and had to change friends and schools? Jeff finds he has to and is not excited about it one bit. He doesn’t want to move and is sad to leave his friends behind. His mother explains that his father has a new job and they will have to move to be closer to where that job is. Have you ever looked at the walls in your house and saw shapes that made you think of something you’ve seen before? Perhaps a kitten or a ship? Jeff, along with his cat, Tye, discovers shapes in the paint on the walls of his new house. Not only shapes, but ones that move? “Could I be losing my mind?” Jeff asks Tye. Are his walls really alive?

- “An amazing and creative book to stimulate the creativity of children. A good story that shows all children who have to move that change can be an exciting thing!”
- “My young reading group loved this creative book. At one time or another, who doesn’t end up staring at the wall paint and wondering what shapes may lie there? I turned this into an activity where, after we’d read the book, the children had to go home and write down five things they saw on their own walls. What a wonderful imagination builder!”
